Smoking Speech

Hi,
I'm showing you my speech I did.  My subject was smoking. Here it is.

SMOKING SHOULD STOP
Hi I’m Lukas and today I'm talking to you about smoking and why we should stop. I believe that smoking should stop for the  following reasons

Thirdly smoking makes your hair turn grey faster and gives you wrinkles and makes you look old so could be 24 and look 37 and that would be weird. When a cigarette is smoked, nicotine Is breathed in as part of the smoke. It goes to the brain very quickly, Nicotine raises your heart rate and blood pressure, slows circulation and causes rapid, shallow breathing. Nicotine also activates areas of the brain that are involved in producing feelings of pleasure and reward.

Firstly, a single cigarette has over 4,800 chemicals and 69 of them are known to cause cancer. So I won't recommend smoking. It’s the biggest polluting thing in the world because ashes. Many people who have cancer It was caused by smoking.  About 5000 people die every year because of smoking in New Zealand

Finally 15 billion cigarettes are smoked every day In the whole world. One cigarette takes away 11 minutes from your life so for a smoker to smoke 20 cigarettes a day that's 220 minutes gone from your life, and If you do that for a year that's  80300 minutes gone from your life and that's crazy.  smokers have a 200% to 400% more chance to have a heart attack than non smokers.

Secondly, In summer some people are so careless they just  tap the ashes out the window and It could make fire.
good news 69% of people want to stop some People use quitline E cigarettes or get hypnotized so they don't do It.  Also smoking causes heart disease, stroke,
lung disease,diabetes,
chronic obstructive.
With that much disease's It’s a big risk to take.

So smoking can give you cancer make you look old and have a higher chance of heart attack. I hope you have learned that smoking is a bad thing and I hope you enjoyed my speech.
